Here we have dried and salted cod cooked with potatoes, olives, olive oil, potatoes, quail eggs and pimentos.
Tah-dah! It tastes very mediocre!

Hahaha, I re-read that sentence 15 times trying to find how I could have offended someone with badly done fish tacos.

I didn’t that it could be offensive, i’ve been watching the office a lot lately and it seems like a moment where michael scott might say, “that’s what she said.”

No pictures but tonight my slightly weird dinner was brown/red/wild rice, pinto beans, sauteed shallot & red pepper, Crystal hot sauce, pea shoots, and a fried egg on top.
It was actually pretty damn tasty. I make good beans.

Here in ‘MURRICA, “fish taco” is a euphemism for the female nether regions.

I had no ideia.

It’s not a particularly good joke here.
Also there’s a stupid chain restaurant called Pink Taco that tries to play off a similar joke.
It is obnoxious.

It looks like a very unpleasant environment.

You are correct.

Quail eggs are awesome. Why you put it inside a taco?
![]() 05/20/2015 at 00:38 |

Because I cooked the cod with the quail eggs.

That sounds really good, did you eat it in a bowl? It sounds like something I would eat in a bowl.

Yup, it was in a bowl.
It sounds complicated but I had made the rice and beans ahead of time so I just warmed those up in the microwave.
The only thing I cooked tonight was the shallot & pepper, and the egg. The pea shoots & hot sauce I pulled out of the fridge.
